Summing it up nicely
Bruce Miles, a Cubs beat writer for the Daily Herald, writes:
"The Cubs get a pair of games on national TV this weekend, with Fox carrying Saturday afternoon's game at St. Louis and ESPN picking up Sunday night's game.
"For my money, I much prefer the local telecasts, when I get a chance to catch them. Cubs announcers Len Kasper and Bob Brenly quickly have grown into one of the top duos in the game, and the production work of WGN and Comcast is much more suited to baseball than the dizzying array of gizmos and head-spinning camera cuts served up by Fox.
"ESPN's production is more respectful of baseball's nuances, and you get the announcing team of Jon Miller and Joe Morgan.
"I like Miller. Oh, I see I’m out of space to write anything more."
