Why do I do this to myself?

A little drowsy

I need sleep! I have been going to bed so late this week, and it's starting to catch up to me. Why can't I go to bed at a decent time? Why do I get distracted and end up staying awake until 1 AM?

To make matters worse, I couldn't even take a nap when I got home, since my dad had made dinner and my mom came home with groceries that needed to be put away. I mean, I have no problem helping with that, and of course I like to eat, but all I wanted was a half-hour to just relax. Oh well, at least it's Friday!

I love you guys, but even love has its limits. Seriously, I fully intended to write a new post on here, but there's no way I can afford to give up thirty minutes of sleep. I've got kind of a packed weekend—at least for me—so hopefully I can find some time to catch up on my Z's.

Man, I could sure use another one of those three-day weekends right about now. Man, as much as I love getting a paycheck every other week, I miss being able to sleep in. I yearn for the days when I considered waking up before 9 to be getting up early!

Okay, I'll write a little bit, but that's it!

I went to the Subway for lunch today, since I didn't have time to make my lunch this morning. Anyway, I asked for pepperoni on my sandwich, and the guy behind the counter told me it would cost $2 extra for that. I asked if that was standard policy at all Subways, and he said that it was. I was kind of pissed, since I've been getting the same sandwich at other locations and they never bothered to inform me of the pepperoni surcharge there. (FYI, I didn't end up getting the pepperoni on my sandwich.)

Sheesh, first Jared, and now this. I should just boycott the damn place!

What else... well, I bought Lost on DVD yesterday. I watched the first 7 episodes but then fell behind and vowed to catch up when it came out on DVD. Well, that time has arrived, and I've got less than 2 weeks to get all caught up before the new season starts. Wish me luck!

The NFL season has officially started. Once again I was very impressed by the Patriots and how well they execute on both sides of the ball. I can only hope that the Bears will have as good a team at some point before I die. (I wonder if Cubs fans were saying that back around 1930 or so...)

Oh, and speaking of the Cubs, how can they play so well against St. Louis—winning 8 of 12 games so far—and so bad against everybody else? It boggles the mind! Oh well, at least I have some consolation if the Cards win the World Series, for when Billy gets back.

Okay, that's not a bad post considering I didn't think I'd end up writing even two paragraphs. Have a bitchin' weekend, everybody!

LOL, why do you do it Marky Mark?! Great pic too, who took that? Very nice! That's just wrong charging $2 for pepporoni, as if they don't already make enough money... Sheesh indeed, LOL! Sounds similar to the story Allison had at Quizno's! Well my friend, hope you have caught a few Z's, have a good one & peace out bro.

It's a miracle! Your eyes aren't red!! LOL And perhaps if you didn't sit online and "just check out" ESPN.com for hours on end, you'd get your sleep!! But that wouldn't be nearly as much fun... :)

My eyes aren't red thanks only to the magic of Photoshop! Prior to touching up the picture, my eyes were as red as ever—maybe even more so!

I feel kind of bad changing the color of my eyes, as if I'm trying to change who I am. It's like the eye version of breast implants!

...and before you say anything, I'm extremely tired, so leave me alone! :-P
